My troubles started when I was 6. My mother was taking a babysitter home, my brother and I were riding with them. We had to cross a railroad track to get to the babysitters house. The tracks were mis-marked and the train didn't blow its horn, and ended up dragging our car a half mile down the track. My 3 year old brother, and the babysitter died, and I was hospitalized for 91 days, comatose for over a week, and had to learn everything all over again. I suffered from untreated depression for years, and from epilepsy. I never had any real friends growing up either. Now, after finding the right therapist, and meeting a girl online, I have been seizure free for over 2 years, and we are starting to plan a family together. I have also been bodybuilding for 5 years. I am now at the happiest point in my life, because I didn't give up.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
