My Hero is Sharon Hampson. What I like about my hero is that she made a difference in the lives of children. She is a Canadian producer, actress, mother of two, a grandmother of two, a folk singer, and a three time breast cancer survivor. Her husband Joe Hampson died on November 30, 2006. He was with the group called, "The Travelers", for 30 years. Lois stepped in to perform with Bram during Sharon's time of mourning. She has to remind herself that she's been married for 43 1/2 years. She and her two other friends, Lois and Bram did two Television Shows. The Elephant Show and Skinnamarink TV. Then, they recorded many albums for kids, and they did concerts together. While they on tour, Sharon was diagnosed with breast cancer. She won each battle three times. Lois retired in 2000 after the death of her husband. Bram was diagnosed with a benign tumor that caused partial deafness in one ear. He underwent surgery to prevent further hearing loss. Sharon and Bram continued to make music for children and their families. She is also the ambassador for Unicef. She will continue to make a difference for children and their families in music. She is my hero because I love her singing and she also loves kids. She's my everyday hero. I also like her haircut and her glasses because, she looks very pretty. That's why I love Sharon Hampson, my everyday hero. The End!
