The summer before eighth grade I had a falling out with my best friend of six years, it was the stupidest reason ever, but it happened. Maybe we were friends for too long because we just stopped talking that summer, we ran out of things to say I guess. Of course it was so painful to experience that, she was basically my only friend. It always hurt to see her around since we never really had any closure, but time really does heal wounds. Luckily when I started eighth grade there were a few people that I felt comfortable enough with to befriend, there were not very many options as there was maybe forty of us in the eighth grade. If it wasn’t for the three friends I made that year I don’t know how I would have made it through to the end of middle school. So thank you, I appreciated that you were there when I needed somebody.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
