When I was in second grade, I had a rival. I didn't understand why we couldn't just get along, but it seemed like she didn't want to. Then one day, it was field day and we both were sitting on our towels. Two boys walked up to her and started calling her mean names. I may not have been friends with her, but I hated bullying and didn't care if it was my rival or friend who was the victim. I ran up and yelled at the boys,"Leave her alone!" They started insulting me but she defended me. The boys ran off and we became friends. I don't like bullying and I try my hardest to be nice and considerate.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
