When Catherine Elizabeth Middleton found and married her prince, William Arthur Louie Windsor, the whole world watched with great anticipation as this no ordinary love story spelled a modern fairy tale.
What makes a fairy tale endearing not just to children but to everyone who would read, hear or speak about it? My girl friends and I spend practically every moment of each day together...and when you're together that long, you tend to talk about everything under the sun. Just like everyone else, we're suckers for happy endings. Yes, we incessantly talk about fairy tales...our very own for that matter.
We're amazingly alike and yet interestingly different from one another. We tend to gravitate towards the same things...share the same passion...hate the same people...agree...disagree...but in the end, we find comfort in each other. Individually, each of us can stand her own ground...but together, we're stronger and "powerful". May be spectators would wonder how we make it stick. The answer is simple...we're all content where we are. Surprising as this may sound, none of us have big dreams for oneself. Our family has always been our priorities. Our confidence may lead others to equate it with conceit and being self-absorbed, but, truthfully...it's simply about BEING SECURE of who we are deep down.
We hate competitions, though, we love games. We have no inclinations of putting ourselves out there just for the purpose of proving ourselves. When we CHOOSE to do things, we give our heart and soul. When we're TASKED to do things, we give our heart and soul. We believe in making a difference in everything.
We are not blind towards each others' shortcomings, limitations, wrong moves and turns...but delighted with the talents, skills and achievements we're humbly blessed with. We tell each other as it is. We didn't see the need to sugar coat our words. We're not perfect, but if there is anything closer to it, i guess, we can get that spot, hahahahahaha.
We love to laugh. We love to love. We love to live. We're friends...the greatest of friends. May be in our past lives, we were sisters...in the future,we may be in laws...but today, right now, right here, we're simply the individuals who make each others' lives more meaningful and more worth living. We teach one another...we learn from one another...we inspire one another...and I guess, it is safe to say that...we truly love one another...coz if we don't, there is no way, we will last this long...for it takes one great love to keep up with any of us.
This is my fairy tale...a real fairy tale...a story of not just once upon a time but of happily ever after.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
