There is a man named sam. he wanted to help the milatary in defeating some dangerous terrorists who were planning on doing very evil things against is state of wisconsin. when he went to a recruitment center, he met another man with the same idea. "i want to protect my homeland". sam asked the man what his name was and he said it was saul. on the second day of training in afganistan (where they were sent) they heard a whistling noise. Suddenly, the sergent said "WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!" everyone panicked and ran for the barracks-everyone exept saul. sam stopped and said "SAUL! what are you doing?" saul replied, "protecting my country." he grabbed his rifle and returned fire at the oncoming enemy. suddenly, he fell to the ground. "SAUL!" sam cried. Sam had a choice: retreat and survive but lose your friend, or put your life on the line to save him. sam quickly ran in his direction. he hoisted him onto his shoulder in a firemans carry and dashed toward the barracks.machine gun fire rattled around him. more shells exploded around him. a sharp pain shot into his right hip and left leg. he screamed but kept going. he made it into the barracks and collapsed. the medics helped sam and his friend, saul. after the fight, they both recieved the purple heart and bronze star. sam and saul both became friends and served for the rest of their tours and recieved the medal of honor. they watched each others backs forever and lived together in wisconsin.
