My hero
I am walking home from school I feet the cold air in my face. Meanwhile I watch two girls do crazy thing like sing and dance. They say hey to everyone that passes by them. Everyone was looking at them but they do not care about that. Then at that moment my best friend comes to my head and i remember how I met her. She was like a life saver.
Since I came from Mexico I had no friends. I did not what to go to school but my aunt told me I had to come so I did. The first day of school I did not go to the first class. When the bell rang I got really nervous. It was like my mom calling me after doing something bad!!! When I was walking to the next class it felt like everyone knew i was the new girl.
By the time I got to the next class i was already late. I walked in and everyone looked at me. I did not like it. The teacher came over to me and said “hey how can I help you?,I responded “I have this class “ My voice was like DC that did not work and it was repining and repining itself. “ Sit down where you want” the teacher told me. So I did .I sat down by a girl. She looked nice. She asked me my name. I said it is Dania “Nice meeting you Dania,” she said to me. “ What LUNCH do you have?” I responded. “I don’t know” she said. “Let me see your satchel.” I gave her my satchel “You have the SAME lunch as me! Who do you hang out with?” I told her “No one.”
By that time the class was over she was about to go to lunch she looked at me and said “Do you want to come to lunch with me” I said “yes”. So since that day I want to lunch with her every day. She has to be my BEST friend. Suddenly I heard a (BEEP) a car was in front of me.
As I think about that day, the girls are really far from I moved so the car could pass. When I get home I call Yahaira and tell her I was thinking of her. I told her thanks for being my friend and I love you. She said I was gay, but I love you back. She has no idea how much I care about her. Thank god she was in my way.
