I am at school in class, and I see a new kid come in class, When I see him he looks lonely, and looking at him makes me think about my best friend, and what he did to make me his friend.
When I was in second grade, I moved schools. The first day of school I walked in and it was as loud as a stampede. I could smell the chocolate that one kid in class was eating. I sat down and there was a group assignment, and I didn’t know anyone. So mark; a student, asked me to be in his group, “do you want to be in my group”; mark asked. “Sure” I replied, after that we went to recess and lunch together.
The second day of school I went in and the same kid that had chocolate the other day had chips today. I sat down when the teacher said, ”Stand up” were changing seats, ”what!” everyone replied,” we stood up and, when I heard that were changing seats, I was surprised because who she had put me by. It was like she was trying to help me.
The teacher put me next to Mark. she knew he was my only friend so far, so she had put me next to him so I didn’t have to sit by someone I didn`t know. After that I and Mark became best friends, and we still are to this day.
I learned that if you reach out to others you can get a best friend. Because you’re helping them not be alone. And let them into your life. Whenever I see a new student in class I try to talk to them, and help them feel more comfortable.
