Mom and Dad raised 8 kids. Dad was a carpenter and farmer. We always had plenty of fun and love and just enough money to get by. We had the normal trials and tribulations you would expect with such a large family. Mom and Dad are gone now and we all miss them. I remember something my Dad would say when things got tough. "The cemeteries are full of people who would like to have your troubles."
That was his way of saying count your blessings.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
