As a kid growing up, I moved 6 times. That meant finding a new house, moving into a new school with new teachers, adapting to a new place and new culture, and also making new friends. It almost turned into clockwork; every 3 years likely meant a new place for me to move. Everyone always assumes I'm apart of a military family but it is actually just my dad receiving promotions in the company he works for.
Each time I moved it was like I was stripped back down to nothing and needed to start over again, but there was one thing that always remained constant. That constant was my family, which is my two older sisters and my parents. While each move proved to be very trying on every member of the family, especially my sisters during their teenage years, each move also brought us closer together as a unit. Because of this, I know that no matter how badly I fail or no matter how successful I am, my family will always be there for support more than anyone else. Without my family, I'm not sure who I would be as a person.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
