With every Sunday evening dinner, the value of family has been ingrained in me. My tranquil house would suddenly turn chaotic. Crammed around the table, the aroma of the meal, the loud banter, the playful teasing, and the preposterous arguments that hit ear-piercing crescendos capture the essence of my big Italian family. From the warm company of my family to the fresh smell of comforting cooking, this scene has been instilled in for as long as I can remember. My Sundays represent more than just food for me. It is the value of family that I carry with me every week, no matter where my dinner is served. Growing up with a strong sense of family, experiencing and understanding the value of gatherings, I always wondered what Sundays would be like during the school year in my new home at college. Thus, in the past two years, I have made a deliberate effort to recapture the warmth, joy, and sense of community with my 'family' at college. Family is my everything, they are my pillars of strength and will continue to be my backbone.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
