Leta is a living legend here in Texas, who lives and works in Granbury, TX. She is the nation's most winning high school girls basketball coach and happens to be 71 years old and going strong. She is soon to be the nation's most winning coach for girls and boys and has no intent of retiring anytime soon- or at least until she accomplishes her goals. She has been recognized by Disney as teacher of the year, is a member of the Texas Sports Hall of Fame and has also been recognized by the National Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as well not to mention many other accolades. She is a down to earth, humble, no-nonsense, hard working, and personable salt of the earth lady who is loved by almost all who know her- even her opponents. She has helped produce many champions to the world of sports to include Olympics and professional sports as well. She is a joy to be around and invokes it in everyone she comes in contact with. I can't say enough good about her as you can tell. You can find her in the book with her husband David. Her name is Leta A. and we love her dearly though we have not known her very long. She clearly displays all of the qualities listed below but I have checked those that stand out the most.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
