As a child, I grew up seeing my hero treat people with so much respect. He gave time to the rich and to the poor. He shared everything that he had with others. He was very courageous, brave, and hardworking. He believed in peoples dreams no matter how unrealistic the seemed at the time. He loved all people unconditionally. And he gave all of us the wisdom to understand that honesty and hard work was more honorable than anything else. But more importantly he kept reminding us to treat older people with all the love and care that we could, because they will not be with us for too long. He would rather go hungry than eat when there was a hungry person around him. He truly is an epitome of enlightened leadership in our generation. He is an unsung hero but nevertheless my all time greatest hero.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
