I met my best friend at a paper nickel carnival his class was having in kindergarten. We had to make paper nickels and cut them out for admission.
So from then, we grew up together teaching each other how to be a better person.
There were past times in our lives where we were separated, but never not thought of I'm sure.
His display of character is so refined and always the same, thoughtful, kind, caring, and always does the right thing.
He's highly approachable; his natural instinct is to help.
Now, being in our late 40's, I love to look back at all of our memories, friends and fun.
I think it's awesome I have had such a wonderful friend for over 40 years.
He is the brother anyone dreams of and wants. I hold him close to my heart at all times and love him dearly.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
